How to install your dirt bike graphics?
Decallab provide a helpful installation guide, which include some basic tools, tech tips and steps of installation.
There is couple good things to remember:
ALWAYS CLEAN PLASTICS WELL
First use brake cleaner and clean paper towel to plastics matte. Then use alcohol based window cleaner and clean all plastics very dry.
DO NOT USE SOAP WATER
Sop water or any else liquid will damage glue of vinyl.
USE HEAT GUN TO POST HEATING DECALS
It’s very important to warm up your graphics after applying. Also it’s good to heat them up when applying though curved plastics.
CUT THE EXCESS EDGES IF NECESSARY
Graphics templates may not fit completely perfect always. That’s chose there is different plastics producers all over the world. So use sharp paper knife to cut of excess edges to make your graphics serve longer for you.
LEAVE THE BIKE FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE GO TO TRACK
It’s always good to leave your just wrapped bike for some good 24 hours before riding in track. Vinyl will take a curvature of plastics and glue gets harder.
TAKE A TIME AND DON’T RUSH
Do not rush and don’t skip any of those advice. For professionals application takes around 30- 45 minutes for all bike. For casual dirt bike rider it may take up to 2 hours to make all look mint.
